Multifaith Prayer Circle During Inauguration

To those standing firm in the struggle for liberation:

Hold steadfast to your faith, for the road of justice is often difficult and full of trials. Remember that we all believe in a Creator that is is the Source of Justice, and nothing escapes His knowledge. Every tear, every sacrifice, and every effort is seen and accounted for. There is a surah in the Qur’an that says:

“So verily, with the hardship, there is relief.” (94:6)

So though the struggle may seem overwhelming, we can take solace in knowing that Allah is with the steadfast. Trust that your efforts, when done sincerely are part of a greater purpose beyond what we can see. Keep your heart anchored in prayer, your spirit uplifted by hope, and your actions guided by compassion and justice.

May this prayer I am going to offer bring you strength and remind you that you are never alone. Allah, God, our Creator is always near, guiding and protecting you on this sacred journey.

Du’a for Protection and Liberation:

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

Ya Allah, Lord of all creation,
We call upon You, the Source of strength and justice,
to shield and protect those who stand on the frontlines—
the organizers, the activists, the healers, and the dreamers—
all who dedicate themselves to justice and liberation for all people.

Surround us with Your Divine Light,
guard our hearts from despair,
our minds from confusion,
and our bodies from harm.

Grant us courage when the path feels perilous,
patience when the struggle is long,
and clarity when we must make difficult choices.

Ya Rabb,
Fill our spirits with the knowledge that we are not alone,
that Your justice is eternal and unshakable.
Bless our efforts with sincerity and success,
and unite our hearts with love and compassion.

We ask You to bring an end to all forms of oppression,
to dismantle systems of injustice,
and to liberate all people from the chains of white supremacy.
Make us all instruments of peace,
guiding us to act with wisdom, humility, and perseverance.

Ya Allah,
Grant us the ability to rest when needed,
to heal when wounded,
and to rise again with renewed determination.
May our work inspire countless others,
and may our sacrifices be honored in this life and the next.

Ameen, ya Rabb al-Alameen.
